This week's focus

The Foundation Your Ends Depend On

Most of the attention in hair care goes to the ends, the length, the style you see in the mirror. But healthy hair is actually decided somewhere you probably pay little attention to on a daily basis: the scalp.

Ignoring your scalp care may not cause an obvious problem right away but it can show up weeks later. Slower growth and even breakage at the scalp before your hair has the opportunity to grow longer.

That's why the small, repeatable rituals matter more than any single product: a scalp refresh, ensuring your scalp is clean and the pores aren't clogged. Taking an honest look at what's actually happening at the root on a regular basis is a habit that will help you see if your lack of hair growth is actually caused by neglect of your scalp before you even focus on your ends which is more about length retention.

"The foundation you don't see is still the foundation everything else depends on."

Scalp care is one of the topics we cover in more detail inside the Faithful Strand Academy. This week, you can try the first three modules for just $7. Inside you'll find clear, practical guidance you can start using right away, starting with your identity.

PAUSE & PONDER

"My scalp does its work whether I'm paying attention or not. What foundation in my own life have I been skipping simply because the results aren't visible yet?"

Ponder it; Make it a journal prompt.
Hit reply and tell me what came up. I'd love to connect with you.

Lulusilk Scrunchies are the go-to if you want small scrunchies that protect your ends and keep them secure. You can use them to secure everything from ponytails to braids and twists.

Manucurist makes doing gel manicures healthier for your nails. No more soaking off polish that damages your nails. Their starter set gives you 5 colors, so if you're low maintenance like me, you can get all the colors you need.

Doris & Jacky's bags have surprised me in the best way. The quality is amazing, the designs are stunning, and they are made with full-grain cowhide pebble leather.

Many Blessings,
