Natural Hair Care with faith as the foundation and intention as the guide

Sunday, March 29, 2026 Vol. 2    Issue 13

Hi Reader,

As we step into a new season, I want to shift how you approach your hair routines.

As we close out March and step into April, we're shifting focus. Next month is all about breaking the cycle of starting over with your hair routines and building real trust in what actually works for you.

But first, let's finish strong by becoming the version of you that God designed you to be. Here's what I pulled together for you this week.

GUIDED GROWTH

This month's devotional

Spring Christian Natural Hair Devotional with a 30 Day Reading Plan from Romans

Spring often stirs thoughts of growth, change, and becoming the woman God is calling you to be. It is a season that naturally invites reflection on what needs to be renewed, what needs to be released, and how you want to move forward.

SACRED REFLECTIONS

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Psalm 139:14

We are all made with unique qualities - from the color of our hair to the texture of our curls. None are mistakes.

It's all part of God's artistry.

SACRED SELF CARE

This week's action step

01 This week, steward well what God has given you. Intentional hair care isn't about perfection or following someone else's routine. It's about honoring the hair on your head with consistency and care. Watch this week's video on intentional hair care, then start one practice from it that you can comit to focusing on this week. That's it. One thing, done with intention.

This week's focus

Your Hair Conversations Don't Need to Be Defensive

You've probably heard it before: your hair is too coarse. Too much work. Not work appropriate. Too different from societal "norms."

That message can sting because it can surface feelings of insecurity, and even shame.

But here's what the Spring Devotional reminds us: being made in God's image means your hair, exactly as it is, is part of His design. You're not too much (or not good enough). You're exactly right.

Here's the real issue, though. Even when you know that truth intellectually, conversations about your natural hair can still sting. People will ask asinine questions. They'll make unwelcome comments. And you need language, grace, and confidence to navigate those moments without slipping back into defensiveness or self-doubt.

That's what Unbothered does. It gives you language rooted in grace, not shame. Actual responses and a framework for staying grounded in who you are when someone challenges your hair, your choices, or your right to wear your natural texture.

"...Your hair, exactly as it is, is part of His design"

If you’ve ever struggled to respond in those moments, this is exactly what Unbothered was created to help with. Get your copy and learn exactly what to say when people question your identity. Grace-filled responses, grounded in faith.

Have a Blessed Palm Sunday,

Michelle xo
