One Size Fits None

Generic hair advice exists because it has to appeal to the masses. But your hair isn't like that of the masses.

Think about it. Your personality isn't one size fits all. Your faith walk isn't one size fits all. The way God wired you (how you think, how you move, what you need); none of it was meant to fit a mold. Your hair is no different. It was made with the same specificity.

The problem isn't that you haven't found the right products or hair care routines yet. The problem is that most advice surrounding hair care wasn't specifically designed with you in mind. They were designed for a general audience, and if you are struggling, it's highly likely you've been trying to fit yourself into something that was never meant for you.

God doesn't gather the capable and self-sufficient. He gathers the ones who know they can't figure everything out on their own.

You don't have to have everything together to be held and cared for by our Father. You just have to be willing to be gathered and cared for. Meditate on that this week.
